日本で食べていたごはんが恋しくなり、シンガポールでちゃんぽんが食べられるお店でヒットしたのがこちら。
タンジョンパガーのショッピングモール、100AMにある「鶏王けいすけ」です。
I missed some food, which I liked to eat in Japan. So I looked up a restaurant in Singapore which serves champon, and I found it. It was Tori King Keisuke at 100AM, a big shopping mall at Tanjong Pagar.
このKEISUKEさんのお店はシンガポールでは有名で、なんと22店舗もあります。
わたしがKEISUKEレストランの存在を知ったのは最近ですが、その前からDON DON DONKIでKEISUKEさんの冷凍餃子を買っていました。自宅で簡単にパリパリの餃子ができるので、常にストックしているくらいお気に入りです。
This is the biggest ramen chain in Singapore, and it has 22 outlets. Actually, I knew the KEISUKE restaurants recently. But I’ve already eaten KEISUKE’s product which I bought at DON DON DONKI. It’s my favorite gyoza, and I always stock it in the fridge.
今回はこちらのお店のちゃんぽんをお目当てに訪れました。
注文シートに、麺の硬さ、塩加減などのオーダーをチェックできるようになっています。
お店の中はレトロな雰囲気。テーブルには無料のゆで卵、ごま、もやしなどが置いてありました。
I hoped to try champon at Tori King. I could put a checkmark in an order sheet: hard or soft noodles, amount of salt, and so on. The restaurant’s atmosphere was old-fashioned. I could eat boiled eggs, sesames, and bean sprouts for free.
ちゃんぽんは、こってりめでしたが味には大満足でした。野菜もたっぷり入っていて、具だくさんです。やや塩味が強いので、次回は塩少なめがいいかもしれません。
The taste of champon was deep and delicious. There were lots of vegetables in it. However, it was a little salty, so I might order less salty next time.
「ちゃんぽん王」が数年前にはタンジョンパガーのインターナショナルプラザにあったようですが、閉店していました…。
ですがタンジョンパガー付近だけでも系列店がいくつかあるようなので、また行ってみたいと思います。
A few years ago, there was Champon King at International Plaza, but it’s closed now. There are some outlets in the area of Tanjong Pagar, so I want to go there.
