新しい趣味がほしい、ということで始めてみたのが「テニス」。夫婦ともに文化系の部活ばかりでこれまで一度もトライしたことのなかったスポーツに、ついに手を出してみました。
なぜテニスかというと、コンドミニアムにテニスコートがあったから。
アプリでコートを予約することができ、使用料は無料です（回数制限あり）。
テニスラケットは＄39でデカトロンというスポーツ用品店で買いました。ラケット2本とボール2個でこの価格。初心者にも優しいお値段でした。
ちなみにデカトロン（サマセット店）はThe Centrepointというショッピングモールに入っており、店内はかなり広いです。スポーツごとに商品が陳列されていて、見ているだけでも楽しくなります。
シンガポールは日差しが殺人的なので、20時～や21時～といった、夜の時間帯からできるのも魅力です。
まだまだ超初心者でラリーも続きませんが、ゆるく楽しんでいけたらと思います。
I wanted to try something new, and I started playing tennis these days. My husband and I haven’t tried any sports before, though. My condominium has a tennis court, that’s why we started playing tennis. We can book with an app, and the fee is free.
By the way, we bought tennis rackets at DECATHLON, the sports shop. It was included two rackets and two balls. And it was only $39, so it was a good price for beginners.
DECATHLON is located at The Centrepoint @Somerset, and the shop is huge.
It’s fun to look around because there are lots of items for each sport.
In Singapore, the sunlight is too strong, so it’s good for me to play tennis at night.
We are still beginners, so we can’t continue the rally. But I want to enjoy it.
