ガーデンズ・バイ・ザ・ベイとは？
シンガポールの観光名所となっている植物園。マリーナ・ベイ・サンズのすぐそばにあり、コロナ以前は観光客で賑わっていました。
無料で見て回れるエリアと、有料の施設等があります。
人工の木が立ち並ぶスーパーツリー・グローブは最も有名なエリア。下から見るのは無料ですが、上に登ることもでき（スカイウェイS$8≒650円）、天気の良い日は気持ちよく、景色も楽しめます。
このエリアには、フラワー・ドーム（写真左）、クラウド・フォレスト（右）という2種類の温室もあります（S$28≒2300円）。
クリスマス限定イベント、Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bayに実際に行ってみた
毎年「クリスマス・ワンダーランド」というイベントをやっているようです。
チケットはオンラインで購入可能でした。
いくつか種類があり、温室のほうでもイベントをやっていたようですが、スーパーツリー・グローブのエリアのみのものを選びました。
日にちと時間（18:30, 19:30, 20:30, 21:30）を選択し、支払いをすると購入完了。
12/3～16はS$7（≒560円）、12/17～1/2はS$9（≒720円）となっています。クリスマスシーズンに通常（無料）よりお金を取ろうという商売上手なシンガポール、さすがです。
コロナもあるので、人数制限の側面もあるのかもしれません。

早速、会場でどんなことをやっているのか紹介していきます。
Luminarie（ルミナリエ）
イベントのメインとなっている、光のオブジェ「ルミナリエ」が登場。写真に収まりきらないほど巨大です。
Garden Rhapsody - The Christmas Special（ガーデンラプソディ：ライトショー）
コロナ前は毎日開催していたライトショーの、クリスマスソングバージョン。
人気のクリスマスソングに合わせて、スーパーツリー・グローブが輝きます。クリスマス気分が一気に盛り上がること間違いなしです。
Carnival Games and Carousel（カーニバルゲームとメリーゴーランド）
ダーツやボーリングなどの屋台が並んでいました。日本の夏祭りみたい…。
有名キャラクターというよりは、海外味のあるぬいぐるみが景品のようです。
また、メリーゴーランドも設置されており、音楽とともに楽しんでいる人がたくさんいました。
Mistletoe Alley Market（マーケット）
写真映えする飲食エリアがあり、カップル、家族で賑わっていました。
ワインやお菓子などを売っている屋台もあります。
Photo Spot with Santa Claus（サンタさんとの記念写真コーナー）
サンタさんと写真が撮れるスポット。長い列ができていました。
他の場所にも光のオブジェが設置されていて、写真スポットになっています。
シンガポールには、こういった写真撮影のための場所がたくさんあって、みんな並んでいるイメージです。
シンガポールで華やかなクリスマスを過ごしたい人におすすめ
過去に紹介されているブログ記事等を見ていると、コロナのためイベントの規模はやや小さめのよう。
ですが、クリスマスのロマンチックな雰囲気をお腹いっぱいになるほど堪能できるはずです！

I’ve got information about the Christmas illumination at Gardens by the Bay. I’ll share my experience and pictures.
What is Gardens by the Bay?
It’s one of the popular botanical gardens in Singapore. It locates near Marina Bay Sands, and many tourists visited before COVID-19. Some areas are free, and some are not. Supertree Observatory is the most famous part, made of artificial wood. You can enter around this part for free. When you pay, you can climb the tree and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the tree(S$8). Besides, there’re two greenhouses, the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest(S$28).
I’ve been to Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay!
Gardens by the Bay holds ‘Christmas Wonderland' every year. I could get tickets online. What I did was select the date and time and pay online. The fee was from S$7, and it depends on the day. I think that Singaporeans are good business persons. So they can get money for this event, although it's usually free.
Luminarie
It was the leading light display of Christmas Wonderland. But, unfortunately, it was too big to fit in the photo.
Garden Rhapsody - The Christmas Special
Garden Rhapsody is a signature light and sound show of the Gardens by the Bay. And it was held every day before the pandemic of COVID-19. This time, it was the Christmas Special. So, you can definitely enjoy the Christmas mood.
Carnival Games and Carousel
Everyone enjoyed traditional carnival games, including Darts, Bowling, etc. I thought it was like a Japanese summer festival. The gifts were not popular character’s goods but like foreign goods. And also, there was the carousel. People enjoyed it with music.
Mistletoe Alley Market
You can enjoy eating at the photogenic spot. There were many couples and families. You can get wine and sweets at the festival stalls.
Photo Spot with Santa Claus
A spot where you can take pictures with Santa Claus. There was a long line. Light displays were also set up in other places, making them photo spots. There’re lots of photo spots in Singapore, and many Singaporean makes a long line for it.
When I looked up posts about the previous event, it became smaller because of COVID-19. However definitely, you can enjoy the Christmas mood at Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay!
