シンガポールにいても我が家は日本式のクリスマス。
お昼は手作りピザ。最近ハマっていてよく作るので、作るたびに完成度が高くなっている気がします。
夜はケンタッキーフライドチキン。安定のKFCです。日本とは違い、夕方にテイクアウトしに行ったのですが全く混んでいませんでした。
そしてクリスマスケーキはシャトレーゼで購入。
意外かもしれませんが、シンガポールにシャトレーゼは30店舗以上あります。
安くてクオリティが高く、種類が豊富、と現地の人にも日本人にも大人気です。
シンガポール以外にも、8カ国に展開しているそう。
日本じゃコンビニスイーツがよく売れていますが、海外でこんなにリーズナブルかつ高品質なケーキなんて他にないですもんね。
そして相変わらず、ショッピングモールのクリスマスツリーは圧巻でした。
京都駅の大階段かユニバのツリーくらい巨大です。

Our Christmas is Japanese-style, even if we’re living in Singapore.
We ate handmade pizza for lunch. The quality’s becoming better every time I make it.
We had KFC's fried chicken for dinner, and we have it every Christmas. Unlike Japan, it didn’t take a long time to get it for taking away.
And we bought two pieces of cake at Chateraise. You might not believe it, but Chateraise has more than 30 outlets in Singapore. The cakes are reasonable, high-quality, have lots of kinds, so Singaporean and Japanese love them. And there’re outlets in other 8 countries. Many convenience stores sell reasonable and tasty sweets in Japan, but they don’t in foreign counties.
As usual, the Christmas tree in the shopping mall was great. It was as massive as the grand staircase of Kyoto Station or the tree of Universal Studios Japan.
