本日、最高気温は31℃。シンガポールは12月でもこんな気温となっています。
乾季（3月～10月）と雨季（11月～2月）があるものの、基本的に一年中暑いです。
先日行ったカトンで、美味しいジェラート屋さんを見つけました。
Birds of Paradiseという名前の、ちょっと意識高い系のオーガニックなお店です。
ショーウィンドウからお好きな味を決め、カップ（S$4.7）かコーン（S$5.7）を選択。
他にはあまり見たことのないような味がずらり。
SEA-SALT HOJICHA（ほうじ茶）、PANDAN（パンダン：カヤジャムにも使われ、東洋のバニラとも言われる）、BASIL（バジル）、COCONUT SORBET（ココナッツソルベ）、MASALA SPICE（マサラスパイス）などなど…。
わたしは冒険できないタイプなので、PEACH & ROSE SORBET（ピーチ＆ローズソルベ）を注文しました。
カフェスペースはないので、お店の外でいただきます。
ほのかなピーチ味とローズの苦味が感じられ、暑さも吹き飛ぶ美味しさでした。
甘すぎないので、最後まで飽きずに食べることができます。
またコーンにはハーブが入っているようで、サクサクした食感と、独特な大人の味が楽しめます。
ジェラートの味は18もの種類があるので、カトンに立ち寄ったときにひとつずつ食べて制覇していくのもおもしろそう、と思ったりしました。
カトンには他にも可愛い雑貨屋さんもあり、こちらもおすすめです。

Today, the maximum temperature is 31 ℃. It’s too hot even in December. Although there is a dry and rainy season, it is basically hot all year round.
I found a gelato store at Katong. The name was ‘Birds of Paradise,’ the gelatos made from organic ingredients.
You order your favorite taste from the show window and choose cup or corn. There were a lot of tastes that you haven't seen before. SEA-SALT HOJICHA, PANDAN, BASIL, COCONUT SORBET, MASALA SPICE, etc. I can’t adventure, so I ordered PEACH & ROSE SORBET. There was no cafe space, so I went outside the store and ate it.
I felt a peach taste and a bitter taste of rose. It wasn’t too sweet to enjoy it for the end. The corn was a herbs flavor, and you can enjoy the crispy texture.
I think it’s fun to eat them one by one when I visit Katong.
