The COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccination is also mandatory in Singapore.

I found this news on 5 Jan. And I posted about the SMS from the government and my vaccination before.

In Singapore, if you are not a full vaccinated person
・ Cannot go to own office
No eating out
・ No admission to a shopping mall
・ Pay for medical expenses by yourself
There are too strict restrictions such as. In other words, vaccination is mandatory. If you don’t want to do it, you can live in other countries. But instead, I think the government really cares about people in Singapore (including foreigners who have VIVA).

The government would like to spread booster vaccination to prevent the spread of Omicron. We have to get the booster dose within 9 months. If we don’t do that, the states of Trace Together don’t show ‘Vaccinated’ anymore. There’s a fixed deadline, and there’s a clear penalty. I admire the Singaporean government’s ability.

I think this is not necessarily the correct answer. Of course, there must be pros and cons of vaccination. But I think common sense will change in different countries. I might feel that Singapore is overkill if I’ve only lived in Japan.

People who already have the second dose vaccination will get the booster dose. So I guess the government only wants to remind. I didn’t feel shocked when I saw this news. It means I already follow Singapore’s rules.
