半年ぶりのUSS（Universal Studios Singapore）！
11/7までハロウィン仕様ということで、思い切って行ってみました。
パークに入るときはやっぱりテンションがあがっちゃいます。
正面にどーんとジャック・オ・ランタンのショーエリア。ここで時間ごとにキャラクターが登場し、写真撮影が行われていました。
大人気のミニオンズ、いまだ可愛いと思えない…。この絶妙な可愛くなさが受けているんでしょうか。
今回初めて乗ってみたのが、「サイロン（バトルスター・ギャラクティカ: ヒューマンvs.サイロン）」。USSで目玉となっているジェットコースターです。ヒューマンとサイロンが対になっていて、どちらに乗るか、並ぶ段階で決められます。
ヒューマンは普通のジェットコースターという感じですが、サイロンは回転あり、ツイストありのアクロバティックジェットコースターです。しかも足が固定されていない…。
乗ってみると、ジェットコースター好きということもあり怖くはありませんでしたが、ツイストでやや酔いました…。
わたしはヒューマンのほうが好きでしたが、夫はサイロンのほうが良かったみたいです。
USS内のアトラクションでのイチオシは「ハムナプトラ」の室内ジェットコースター。ストーリー性あり、真っ暗な中駆け巡るスペースマウンテンのようなおもしろさあり、で大満足です。今回60分ほど並びましたが、並ぶ価値ありだと思います。内装も凝っていて、並びながらも楽しめます。
お待ちかねのハロウィンナイトはというと…ゾンビには無事会えました。
ただ、日本のUSJのようにゾンビがうじゃうじゃいるのではなく、ショーや「SCREAM ALLEY」という一部の道にだけ仮装した人がいるという感じです。
ちなみにお客さんはハロウィン自体が終わっちゃっていたからなのか、それほど仮装している人は多くありませんでした。
それでも非日常を味わうことができ、遊び尽くした1日になりました。
It's been about six months since I visited USS (Universal Studios Singapore). The Halloween Night decoration was till 7th Nov., so I decided to go to USS.
I always feel excited when I enter a theme park. There was a showplace with a giant Jack o lantern. The character’s greetings were held here. I still don’t know why Minions are so popular. I think Minions aren’t cute. I wonder that is their charm point.
I tried to ride on CYLON, one of the most popular roller coasters at USS. This is a motif of Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON. We can choose HUMAN or CYLON before waiting. HUMAN is a regular roller coaster, but CYLON is like a more acrobatic roller coaster. And in the case of CYLON, my foot is outside of the coaster. Because I love a roller coaster, I didn’t feel scared with the roller coaster. But I felt sick. I prefer HUMAN, but my husband says CYLON is better.
What I recommend the most is Revenge of the Mummy, an indoor roller coaster. It has a story, and you can enjoy the roller coaster in the dark like Space Mountain. I waited for 60 minutes, but it had worth waiting. You can also enjoy the decorations when you're in waiting.
What I was looking forward to was Halloween Night. Fortunately, I could meet zombies. But there were fewer zombies than I met at USJ. They only appeared on the stage or on SCREAM ALLEY. And most of the guests didn’t wear costumes for Halloween. However, I really enjoyed Halloween.
